TA-TA FOR NOW.

I'm going to be taking a little time out from the blog for a bit.
I want to thank you all for your support these past few months and I'll get back to it when I can.
Wishing you all an incredible 2013.

FI-FI LAPIN

I read a ton of blogs. I find them incredibly inspiring and a great way to connect with people all over the world.

One of my absolute favorites is Fi-fi Lapin's site. Fi-fi is a London based Bunny Rabbit - yes, you read correctly and believe me she's the most stylish rabbit I've ever been acquainted with.

Fi-fi  has a book "What Shall I Wear Today? - Style Secrets of a Furry Fashionista" and has collaborated on capsule collections with Topshop, Le Sportsac, and ASOS to name a few.

I kicked myself when I missed out on the scarf's she did with Juicy Couture earlier this year (see below).

I think we all could take a pointer or two from this smoking hot rabbit (now that's a sentence I never thought I'd utter!)

Check out Ms. Lapin's site here.

VINTAGE

It makes me so happy when I pull a piece of clothing out of storage that I've owned for years and it's right on trend (and still fits!). It makes me feel justified for keeping hold of things seemingly past the expiration date.

This is a dress I bought from my friends fabulous vintage store, Gotta Have It in about 2005 and I LOVE it!

Also, I'm loving my new Juliet & Company necklace and I have a feeling you're going to be seeing it featured on Ladyboots quite a bit, so apologies in advance!

BLING BLING BLING

I used to get so frustrated with my jewelry in a box. I have so many bits and pieces, that it was difficult to find what I was looking for. I ended up reaching for the same earrings or the same necklace every time. Totes boring dude ; )

But then a friend of mine gave me this great idea to display my bling on cork board! You can move things around as needed and just pick up another one from Office Depot when you run out of space. Bloody brilliant!

The hands I picked up on my travels at different flea markets and the gold striped bowl is from Jonathan Adler. The tray with all the bracelets on it, is actually a soap dish from Anthropologie.

SUPER SMOOTH

How fantastic is this wall?

I'm kind of obsessed with street art, and I'm lucky there is so much of it in Los Angeles to feast the senses. I happened upon this Super Smooth art right by my local Thai restaurant. I'm not sure who the artist is, but if any of you LA readers have a clue, do let me know.

Mr. Sykes and I shot these pics and headed next door for some Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup.
It was a really hot day, but I can never get enough Tom Yum regardless of the weather! I also managed not to splash any on this gorgeous white dress, which was nothing short of a miracle!

THE SIMPSONS GO BAZAAR

I used to keep pretty much every copy of every magazine I subscribed to, which obviously grew to be a bit of a problem. So these days, I just hold onto special editions of magazines, though I do still have my back issues of Dazed & Confused and The Face, which I don't think I'll ever part with.

Anyhoo, whilst having a bit of a clear out the other day, I came across a copy of Harper's Bazaar's August 2007 issue with this fabulous piece featuring The Simpsons, Linda Evangelista and a host of A-list designers. I love Marge in Chanel, Lisa rocking those pearls for Lanvin and how about Homer seated front row at Louis Vuitton?!
